Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead ServiceNow Developer with expertise in ITSM and related modules. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with complex business requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, proven experience in integrations, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with requesters to refine business requirements and ensure the delivery of requested functionality.
  • Gain deep knowledge of the ServiceNow implementation and identify cross-platform impacts of changes or enhancements.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, catalog items, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Create and implement automated workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs.
  • Build and maintain custom applications following best practices to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams for build, testing, and timely delivery.
  • Implement new ServiceNow modules in partnership with internal teams or external partners as business needs evolve.
  • Conduct and manage ServiceNow version upgrades to remain compliant and supported.
Key Skills, Requirements & Competencies

  • Must be eligible and willing to submit for U.S. Government security clearances (active clearance is a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer is required.
  • 5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, ideally across SPM, ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, and HR modules.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow API web services.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
