Title: ServiceNow Developer

Remote / Hybrid Schedule: 3 days expected onsite
Hours | shift | On Call | Timezone: EST 8:30-5:00 pm full time (40 hours)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Subvending Allowed: Yes, but they need to agree to our terms with NEU and we need to provide work authorization

Responsibilities:
  • Performing day to day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including making approved changes to process and workflows, troubleshooting incidents and fulfilling support requests, and ensuring the overall health of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Performing ServiceNow implementation tasks including but not limited to configuration, integration, and custom application development.
  • Developing clear and concise technical documentation
  • Communicating ServiceNow process, operations and capability information to all levels of management effectively.
  • Perform installation and testing of vendor-provided updates and new releases
  • Work with users to identify and refine business requirements and workflows
  • Support the design of ServiceNow integrations and work with business partners and technical teams for implementation Identify and define business solutions for users

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of direct experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Admin, configuring core ServiceNow modules including core ITSM (Change, Incident, Request, CMDB/Discovery), as well as Self-Service Portal, HR Service Delivery, CSM, and/or Performance Analytics. Must have experience developing scoped applications on the platform.
  • Demonstrated understanding of service management processes, operations and procedures
  • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project management methodologies
    Advanced Scripting/ Reporting and other classes area highly recommended
  • Experience in producing enterprise level reports, including compiling data from several different sources
  • Experience with processes involving problem identification, recovery, escalation and resolution
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and to learn new concepts quickly
  • Technical skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOAP/REST API
  • ServiceNow Administration certification
