We invite you to apply for the position of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) where you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the guidance of our healthcare providers. Join our dedicated team in fostering a supportive environment for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately obtain and record patient vital signs.
- Document essential components of the patient's medical history.
- Maintain open and effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist in in-office procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Conduct diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab tests.
- Manage prescription call-backs within the scope of practice.
- Prepare patient charts with pertinent clinical information.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of supplies, ensuring examination rooms are fully stocked.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements set forth by AMC.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- Previous experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present information clearly and respond effectively to inquiries from physicians, patients, and their families.
- Valid LPN license is required upon hire.
Physical Demands:
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting and carrying.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Consistent use of fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
Working Conditions:
- Noise exposure is frequent.
- Hazards are encountered regularly, requiring caution.
