We're seeking a dynamic Healthcare Applications Manager with deep Meditech or other EHR expertise to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of clinical and administrative software systems for a health center in Watertown, NY.
- This is a high-impact role ideal for a hands-on professional eager to drive digital transformation in a mission-driven healthcare environment.
- Healthcare IT, Meditech implementation, EHR systems, clinical informatics, applications management, health tech leadership, hospital IT, healthcare software support, project management, system integration, HIT compliance, and EMR optimization.
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing support of healthcare software systems, with a strong focus on Meditech.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and administrative teams to ensure systems align with operational needs.
- Manage application upgrades, patches, and system integrations.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to application support staff.
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards in all application processes.
- Serve as a project lead for system improvements and expansions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in healthcare software implementation and support.
- Strong proficiency with Meditech or other EHR systems is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with proven problem-solving skills and strong judgment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and adaptability to new responsibilities.
