We are seeking a Senior Events Specialist to lead the planning and execution of events in California, with occasional support for events across the Americas. This hybrid role requires working in the office three days a week and two days remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle planning and execution of California-based events.
  • Create project timelines, budgets, mailing lists, and oversee RSVP and attendance reporting.
  • Coordinate logistics including venues, food and beverages, security, communications, on-site execution, and contingency plans.
  • Conduct thorough venue research, site visits, vendor sourcing, and negotiate contracts for pricing and service quality.
  • Collaborate with lawyers, business development, marketing communications, and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic, branded client and internal events.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of event management experience in a professional services or corporate environment; a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder events with competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with preferred experience in Cvent, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoom, and other event/CRM platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work on-site at various Bay Area offices and outside of normal hours.

Salary: Up to $120K with some flexibility based on experience.
