Head, USA Business Development, In-Vitro Diagnostics

Our client is headquartered in India and has many offshore offices in the USA, Germany and South Korea. They are a diagnostics company (preventative) and leading manufacturers of native antigen for 1500 hospitals.
The firm has a successful entity in the USA with active clients, but they want to expand substantially in America. They are looking for a Head of Business Development for the USA. The salary is open and flexible. You can be located anywhere in the USA with a preference for someone in Boston, but this is not mandatory. They need someone who is currently living in America so no visa sponsorship is possible at this time.
Here is some extra information on the desired profile:
- Knows the sector - naive antigen, polyclonal antibodies, biospecimens, biobanking.
- Self-directed "go-getter" willing to develop new clients.
- Salary/package -is circa $150k (base and bonus) - flexible.
- 7-10 years of experience
- Reports into the chief marketing officer in India.
- As the brand is not that well-known in the USA, the client needs someone to really be able to develop it.
- Will have 3 weeks training in India once appointed.
- The firm is gender neutral and open to anyone with ability and experience.
