Title: Clerk II, Hospital Homebound
Under general supervision, performs a variety of office support tasks including answering telephones, filing, data entry, typing, and word processing to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations.
Essential Job Duties:
The following duties are representative for this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Assists the department administrator with daily office operations and routine administrative duties.
• Prepares, processes, and tracks purchase orders in accordance with federal, state, and district budget guidelines.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures a high level of accuracy when preparing and entering data.
• Composes and proofreads correspondence, reports, and other documents as directed.
• Maintains department calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for departmental activities and events.
• Prepares, collates, and organizes documents, reports, and materials for meetings and presentations.
• Responds to inquiries and provides information to students, staff, parents, and community members in a professional and courteous manner.
• Operates a variety of standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office, email, and districtrelated systems (e.g., GUI, ESIS).
• Maintains confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one (1) year responsible office or clerical experience required.
• Experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
