WE Transport is hiring drivers in Suffolk County, Long Island. While having a CDL license is beneficial, we provide PAID CDL training to help you kickstart your driving career

What We Offer:

  • Flexible Schedule: Enjoy split-shifts with morning and afternoon hours
  • Guaranteed Hours: Work 25-30 hours each week
  • PAID CDL Permit Training
  • $5000 Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses, including P & S endorsements
  • Starting Pay Rate for Van Drivers: $24.37 (Must have CDL A, B, or C with P and S Endorsement)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school on schedule.
  • Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure safety during the ride.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and district policies.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any concerns.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Hold a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or be willing to obtain through our free training).
  • Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid drivers license and complete CDL permit training.
