Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50

Pay Info: Potential sign-on bonus of $5,000 available for this position.

Position Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a critical role in delivering compassionate care and assistance to residents in our long-term care facility. You will provide individualized nursing care and support for daily living activities while working under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering resident-centered care in accordance with care plans.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting resident care and progress.
  • Assisting residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises.
  • Providing nutritional support during meals and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of residents' living areas.
  • Keeping charge nurses informed about changes in residents' conditions.
  • Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be at least 16 years old; prior experience in long-term care is a plus.
  • CNA certification required; training and certification available through the facility.
  • Completion of annual competency testing and continuing education is mandatory.
  • Compliance with state regulations for Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry, if applicable.
