Your Role - What Awaits You
- Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols to ensure accuracy.
- Evaluate results carefully for precision, troubleshoot any issues, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
- Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for timely analysis as needed.
- Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, assist in onboarding new staff or students, and uphold stringent quality control standards.
- Foster a clean and safe working environment while adhering to necessary regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.
- Achieve ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of your start date.
- Ensure that your certification remains current throughout your employment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within healthcare teams.
