Role Responsibilities - Your Impact
- Conduct a variety of standard and complex clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
- Evaluate received results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as necessary.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, provide training to newcomers, and support the lab in adhering to quality standards.
- Uphold a clean and secure laboratory environment, fully compliant with regulatory and accreditation demands.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
- Attain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
- Maintain valid certification throughout your employment.
