About the Project

Were a venture-backed stealth startup (raised $2M) building a Social Intelligence Engine for crypto designed to power faster, smarter onchain trading through real-time AI-driven analytics, token intelligence, and actionable trading insights.

Backed by angels from Sequoia Asia and other leading funds, we're combining data infrastructure, ML/AI pipelines, and crypto-native market signals to build the next great crypto trading platform.

About the Role

We're looking for a Founding Head of Engineering to lead product and technical execution from day one. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and early-stage product delivery. Youll set the technical direction, build the team, and take full ownership of delivering our MVP and v1 product roadmap.

Youll also collaborate closely with the founding team and play a key role in shaping our platform's systems, scale, and user experience.

What Youll Own

  • Define and own the technical architecture across backend, AI, and data pipelines
  • Lead MVP buildout, infrastructure setup, and future-proof product scaffolding
  • Evaluate and implement tools across AI/ML frameworks, blockchain data infra, and real-time event streaming
  • Manage and scale a lean technical team, including hiring, mentoring, and vendor/contractor oversight
  • Work closely with founders on product direction, technical milestones, and launch readiness
  • (Optional) Represent the project at hackathons and technical forums, if comfortable
What Were Looking For
  • 4-7 years experience in software or data engineering, with at least 2 years in crypto or AI/infra
  • Strong backend or data infra background (e.g., event pipelines, smart contract indexing, real-time data)
  • Proven experience building from scratch at early-stage startups or small product teams
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, lean environment
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tooling, blockchain infra, or Web3 indexers a strong plus
  • Bonus: experience shipping trading platforms, DeFi dashboards, or similar data products

  • Web3 data sources (e.g., Dune, Flipside, Moralis, custom indexers)
