Description

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions that center on speech, language, fluency, and voice interventions.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to forge integrated care pathways.
• Educate patients and their families to bolster progress beyond clinical visits.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and speech therapy interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
