Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst to join our forming Virtual Clinics Team. This position supports the operational infrastructure for virtual healthcare services, contributing to process improvement, business performance optimization, and the development of actionable insights for the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement (e.g., member engagement, scheduling processes).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to assist in implementing business initiatives and operational changes.
  • Support the launch and scale of new services and partnerships through preliminary research and data analysis.
  • Assist in evaluating and adopting tools and systems that improve operational workflows.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and basic key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
  • Contribute to financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting under guidance from senior team members.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, while demonstrating initiative and accountability in assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of three years of experience in business operations, analytics, or a similar support role
  • Experience in healthcare, clinical operations, and/or virtual care
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (such as PowerBI)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare or start-up experience preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and virtual care industry trends is an advantage.

Additional Information:

  • Remote role
  • Preferred incumbent locations: Boston, MA; Washington, DC for in person meetings
  • Standard working hours required; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Central or Eastern Time Zones Preferred

Work at Home Requirements:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $86,300 - $118,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
