Description - Your Impact
- Conduct standard and complex clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
- Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
- Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
- Thoroughly document all lab procedures, mentor new staff or students, and support the continuous maintenance of lab quality standards.
- Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree while preparing for ASCP/AMT certification.
- Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
- Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
