We are partnering with a manufacturing company in the Orange County area for a full-time Senior Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for financial reporting, operational strategies and internal control and audits. The ideal candidate is a team player, has attention to detail and eager to learn. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $120,000 to $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations for various general ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Support issuance of 1099s,
  • Review and approve AP requirements weekly
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to scrutinize financial accuracy across all assigned locations
  • Assist the Corporate Controller during the annual external audit, providing essential information as needed.
  • Prepare compliance calculations
  • Review debt holder statements and invoices and prepare quarterly principal payments
  • As ssist and supports other members of the finance and accounting department as required
  • Recruit and hire accounting staff and conduct performance evaluations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Public Audit experience
  • Cost Accounting exposure
