PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Setting up, troubleshooting, and operating CNC machining centers. Haas experience a plus. Assisting engineering with process development, process improvement, and fixture design. Depending on individual’s previous experience, some use of Mastercam may be required as well. Works closely with the Department Lead, Operations Manager, Production Coordinator, and other machinists as a team. Following all Quality Management procedures and processes and work with quality personnel to determine best suited inspection processes when applicable.Maintaining a clean and organized work area and the cleanliness of the machines or work areas as assigned.Assist with overall area and facility housekeeping activitiesAssist with maintenance and repair of equipment in your assigned area as needed and requested. Working towards the achievement of defined personal goals established with management Request resources and guidance as needed from management in the achievement of these goals. These stated duties and responsibilities may change from time to time based on the ever changing needs of the organization, its customers, and staff.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:3-5 years of recent experience in the setup and operation of CNC mills, with “above average" competencyExcellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skillsIs dependable and possesses a high level of integrityTakes initiative, works and communicates well with othersRespectful attitude towards othersPossesses strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsHas deep understanding of GD&TFamiliar with First Article and In-process inspection and documentationFamiliar with the requirements of ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality Standards or willingness to learnIs a good communicator in both oral and written formsExcels in a team environment and works well with othersIs able to work in a fast-paced, small company environmentHas basic tools of setup/operator machinist, or willing to purchase within 90 daysTHE ZTECH CULTURE:It is important for every employee to know and understand that management’s unwavering goal is to build and maintain a strong culture within the company of shared respect and support amongst all individuals, in all positions, and across all levels of experience throughout the company. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
