Position Overview: Responsible for securing new business by selling solutions to senior level decision makers at assigned prospects in our target markets. Coordinate sales strategies and business development with select current and potential Crescent customers, acting as the lead contact for selected product suppliers, manufacturers and representation firms. Act as the product manager for new and existing product lines. Primary Duties: Achieve defined targets for revenue and gross margin. Coordinate activities with District Managers & local Account Managers to present unified strategy and maximize sales effectiveness. Develop long term relationships with key accounts and partners that sustain repeat sales opportunities. Conduct sales calls and presentations in assigned territory as required. Close sales opportunities on projects. Utilize resources & field reps of key suppliers to support sales strategies. Represent Crescent at appropriate local associations & trade shows. Qualifications: Valid driver's license and ability to travel often in the assigned territory and occasionally travel to attend company and vendor activities and events. Must meet Crescent Electric Supply Company's requirements to drive company vehicles. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline from four-year college or university; or at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven sales ability, persuasive manner, competent oral and written presentations, and possess good business judgment. Ability to analyze customer needs and develop appropriate key account plans. Requires proficiency in time management as well as priority management skills in order to meet the demands associated with territory management.
