Paid Media & Analytics SpecialistReq #21294VirtualThis job posting is no longer availableJob DescriptionPosted Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 4:00 AMPURPOSE The Paid Media & Analytics Specialist will work cross-functionally with various teams across Builders FirstSource to develop, implement and manage paid digital marketing campaigns. Plays an integral role in translating the BFS brand positioning and messaging to the digital space, as well as engaging customers, driving website traffic, acquiring leads, and identifying paths to conversion. Analyzes and reports out on Google Analytics data related to website tracking and campaign management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Execute, manage, and optimize online biddable media campaigns and programs (, paid search, auction/exchange-based performance media, audience-based buying, retargeting campaigns) while meeting or surpassing performance expectations. Establish goals and optimize digital spend to achieve both short-term and long-term goals of new customer acquisition, conversion, and retention. Monitor keyword bids, budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics. Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid media. Continually optimize PPC & Paid Social campaigns to make the most of the ad budget. Efficiently scale existing channels and find new channels to make sure each market segment can reach their growth targets. Write compelling ad copy with a focus on driving conversions. Conduct in-depth analysis on audiences, industries, campaigns, audience targeting and overall channels performance. Actively measure and execute A/B split testing for ad copy and landing pages to ensure optimal campaign performance. Provide oversight and share out weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search and programmatic initiatives to relevant stakeholders. Oversee outside vendors to ensure they are leveraging the right mix of technology and customer data in paid search and paid social campaigns. Provide campaign reporting; monitor and offer insights from analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance to broader media team and internal stakeholders. Formulate proposals for new opportunities, tests, or pilots. Manage ad hoc paid media requests from local market areas. Serve as the primary contact to understand the objectives, formulate plans, and work with the digital designers to create corresponding assets, such as online ads and landing pages. Coordinate with other members of the marketing team to develop accompanying traditional and digital marketing elements. Regularly optimize and report progress. Strategize and execute digital campaigns for select suppliers in the company’s Key Supplier Program. Serve as key contact for suppliers on digital marketing, secure their approval on campaign elements and generate reporting on campaign performance. Investigate and stay ahead of emerging advertising trends in the digital media landscape, best practices, and industry innovations. Recommend and pursue testing new and unique paid opportunities and regularly evaluate emerging technologies for fit and adoption. Grow the company’s SMS initiatives. Lead new digital media initiatives as business needs arise. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field. 3 - 5+ years of hands-on PPC and programmatic experience for B2B and B2C businesses. Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio is desired, but not required. COMPETENCIES Expertise in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other ad platforms. Track record of consistently scaling acquisition channels and achieving growth targets. Expertise in performance paid media principles such as keywords, ads, bidding automation, conversion funnels, website optimization, creative testing, and audience segmentation. Critical attention to detail and an ability to effectively balance big-picture strategic work with execution and a proactive approach to campaign management. Passionate about data, analysis, and creative problem-solving. Skilled in leveraging complex data to drive business decisions. Strong work ethic defined by quality and customer-first attitude. Excellent communicator and creative problem solver, with the ability to explain the value of paid media.
