If so, our Tax Associate role is the perfect opportunity for you to shine and grow professionally.The Tax Associate will be responsible for assisting in processing an organization's tax, ensuring compliance, timeliness, and accuracy. The candidate will report to the Manager of Finance.What You’ll Do Assist in preparing US and international tax reports, provisions and returnsReconcile tax reports on a regular basisReview accounting and compliance processes, helping to implement enhancements as neededStay current on tax laws, rules, and regulations that potentially impact the companyAssist with tax audit issuesParticipate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior managementCross collaboration with other departments What We Need Experience with reporting and filing of US income tax for corporationsKnowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws and rules. International tax knowledge is nice to have. Proficient in working with different accounting and payroll systemsSkilled in using Excel or GsheetsAbility to communicate concepts succinctly and clearly and perform well under time constraintsExcellent attention to detailCapable of finding critical information from large amounts of data (needle in a haystack)Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing circumstancesOpen to giving and receiving feedback to improve performanceWilling to tackle any task, regardless of its size or complexityExperience in the tech sector or with startups is a plusBachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field a plus What’s In It For YouWe believe in recognizing exceptional work with exceptional benefits.
