You will also have the freedom, flexibility, and extra earnings you will need to embrace what makes your life uniquely yours.Tasks include:Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools video, phone, chat, emailPrepare complete and accurate tax returnsGenerate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and servicesProvide clients with IRS supportSupport office priorities through teamwork and collaborationGrow your tax expertiseIt would be even better if you also had:Bachelors degree in accounting or related fieldPrevious experience in a customer service or retail environmentExperience working in a fast-paced, supportive environmentAbility to work a minimum of 25-35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeksWhat youll bring to the team:Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course1Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools video, phone and chatAbility to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writingMust meet all other IRS and applicable state requirementsHigh school diploma / equivalent or higherWhy work for us:At H&R Block, we believe and invest in our people by committing to their total well-being. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
