Payroll Administrator

Summary:The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle confidential information, and solid knowledge of payroll procedures, compliance regulations, and HR documentation. The Payroll Administrator will also support attendance tracking, leave management, and provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.Responsibilities:Maintain an organized filing system for personnel and payroll records.Review timesheets and personnel information for completeness and accuracy; flag discrepancies for review.Assist with payroll preparation and distribution of paychecks and earnings statements.Track employee leave balances, including FMLA, personal leave, and other absences.Verify attendance and hours worked using the company’s timekeeping system.Collaborate with management to support payroll accuracy and compliance.Work overtime as needed to meet payroll deadlines.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Associate degree required; a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee records and payroll data.Bilingual in English/Mandarin is strongly preferred.1–3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location or retail environment.Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Kronos, or similar platforms).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerThis job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.Position Details:Employment Type: Full TimeLocation: 2931 Faber St., Union City, CA 94587Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance. 401 (k) Retirement Saving Plan with 4% Company Match.Long-Term Services Award.
