We design, craft and deliver exceptional everyday pieces for everyone, priced fairly and produced ethically to create a positive impact for both people and the planet.   About the Role We’re seeking an experienced and strategic District Manager to lead and scale our retail performance across multiple locations. This role is responsible for driving profitability, developing high-performing store teams, and ensuring operational excellence across the region. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for developing people and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Location:   Resides in NY, NJ or PA (travel required up to 65%) Reports To: Retail Expansion Manager  Department: Retail Key Responsibilities 1. Profitability, KPIs & Business Analysis Profitability: Maintain strong profitability across the region by managing controllable expenses and ensuring stores achieve a minimum Sales target  Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales performance to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals. Partner with Store Managers to analyze trends and implement action plans to optimize conversion, traffic, and average transaction value.Comp Store Sales Growth: Deliver positive year-over-year comp sales growth by using data to identify opportunities and strengthen productivity across mature stores. Inventory Health: Oversee inventory accuracy and replenishment to maintain and improve sell-through across all locations. 2. Recruitment & Training Leadership Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with HR to recruit and onboard top retail leaders. Ensure all leadership roles are filled within 60 days of vacancy and drive retention after onboarding .  Leadership Development: Build and maintain individual development plans for all Store Managers, conducting annual performance reviews and providing coaching for growth in leadership and business acumen. Training & Process Improvement: Collaborate with Retail HQ to refine SOPs, training modules, and playbooks. Gather store feedback and implement continuous improvement in learning tools and processes. 3.Retail Support & Field Leadership Store Visits : Maintain strong field presence, visiting each store at least once per month or as determined by business needs and revenue performance. Provide in-person coaching and operational reviews during each visit.Leadership Communication & Coaching: Hold weekly 1:1s with Store Managers to review performance, align on priorities, and coach on leadership effectiveness and business management. New Store Openings (NSOs): Partner with HQ to execute new store openings—overseeing recruitment, training, setup, and post-opening support to ensure smooth launches. Field Partnership & Alignment: Act as the main conduit between store teams and HQ. Ensure clear communication, consistent execution of brand initiatives, and timely feedback from the field to drive operational efficiency.Qualifications 5–7 years of progressive retail leadership experience, with 3+ years managing multiple locations or regions .Proven record of driving sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence across retail locations.Experience managing full P&L, payroll, and expense controls.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with a history of developing high-performing teams.Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in retail systems and analytics platforms (e.g., Shopify, Fulfil, Biron, Deputy, G-Suite).Ability to travel up to 65% of the time, including weekends and peak business periods.Strong understanding of visual merchandising, inventory management, and retail best practices.Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and elevating brand performance in every store.Powered by JazzHR
