We deliver innovative solutions while prioritizing safety, quality, and career growth for our team members.We are seeking a HR Operations Specialist to serve as the onsite face of HR, recruiting, and office operations for our electrical construction teams supporting data center projects. This role combines hands-on HR coordination, onboarding, compliance support, recruiting logistics, and day-to-day office administration.You will support a largely field-based workforce while partnering closely with HR and Recruiting teams in other locations-requiring adaptability, strong judgment, and a high level of professionalism. This position is ideal for someone with a solid HR foundation who wants to take ownership of the onsite employee experience, ensure compliant onboarding, and keep daily operations running smoothly.What You'll Do:Onboarding & Training DocumentationLead Day 1 onboarding logistics, ensuring preparedness of materials, workspace, and safety/technical training requirements.Coordinate new-hire onboarding, ensuring all documentation, training, and compliance tasks are completed accurately and on time.Track and document employee onboarding, safety certifications, and required training modules.Maintain training logs and filing systems to ensure accurate, audit-ready records.Review and validate I-9 documentationRecruiting & Talent SupportEngage local colleges and universities and build relationships to support recruitment from relevant programs.Represent the business in career fairs and other recruiting events, update social media accordinaly.Coordinate interviews, onsite visits, and candidate communication with hiring managers and recruiters.Post jobs, manage applicant flow, and ensure accurate applicant tracking in ATS platforms.Maintain interview records and hiring documentation in alignment with compliance standards.Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience.Office & Site SupportOversee office operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.Manage supplies, meeting rooms, vendor coordination, and general office upkeep.Support coordination of events, meetings, and onsite training sessions.Act as a resource for field employees and leadership requiring administrative or HR support.Systems & ProcessBecome proficient in systems and operational workflows.Maintain accurate employee and candidate data across platforms.Support ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.HR Coordination & Employee SupportServe as the local point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing timely, professional guidance and escalating issues appropriately.Maintain organized personnel files, training documentation, and compliance records.Support HR processes such as policy communication, employee status changes, and data updates as neededWhat You'll Need to Succeed:3+ years of HR coordination, HR operations, or recruiting coordination experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, trades, or other field-based environments.Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications or related.PHR or other related HR certification preferred.Strong working knowledge of HR compliance, particularly recruiting, onboarding and I-9 review.Experience supporting both office and field personnel preferred.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable serving as the onsite representative of HR.High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems quickly; prior HRIS/ATS experience strongly preferred.Success in This Role Looks LikeYou are a reliable, professional resource for employees and hiring managers onsite.Onboarding, documentation, and compliance tasks are completed accurately and consistently.Candidates experience a smooth, organized recruiting process.The office operates efficiently and reflects a high standard of professionalism.You quickly become the trusted local partner for both HR and recruiting needs.What We Offer:Full-time salaried position.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.Company-provided IT equipment.401(k) with company match.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Additional Information:JSET Automated Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
