Senior Acquisition SpecialistPosition OverviewEuola is seeking Senior Acquisition Specialist to provide expert-level acquisition support for complex, high-value VA procurements at the Regional Procurement Office, working independently and mentoring junior staff on sophisticated procurement actions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development of complex acquisition strategies and plansPrepare sophisticated cost/price analyses for procurements exceeding $5MDraft complex sole-source justifications and determinationsDevelop comprehensive evaluation criteria for major source selectionsCreate detailed market research reports for specialized requirementsPrepare contract termination documents and complex modificationsSupport protests, claims, and dispute resolutionLead compliance reviews on high-dollar/high-risk contractsMentor entry and mid-level specialistsInterface directly with VA COs and senior program officialsHandle the most complex and sensitive procurement actionsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Public Administration, or at least twenty-four (24) semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management 7+ years of federal acquisition experience Expert knowledge of construction and AE contracting request and develop construction/AE solicitation packages in accordance with FAR, VAAR, and agency policies and proceduresProven experience with complex service contracts and major acquisitionsDemonstrated expertise in healthcare or VA procurement preferredStrong leadership and mentoring capabilitiesAbility to work with minimal supervision on complex mattersPreferred Qualifications10+ years federal contracting experienceA Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C Level I, II, or III), FAC-C (Professional), or DAWIA Level III in Contacting certification or courses leading to certification, or demonstration of the completion of commercial courses equivalent to certification.Experience with contracts exceeding $10MVA specific procurement system experience Job Posted by ApplicantPro
