Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.About the roleWe’re looking for an action-oriented, growth-minded Sales Manager with a proven track record of success to lead our US-based Account Management team. As first line manager, you will coach and develop Account Managers in a horizontal customer segment. You will lead your teams to meet their quota attainment and personal objectives. You will be responsible for developing multiple employees for promotion in this fast growing company. You will report to our Director of SMB Account Management and work closely with our Account Management leadership team.What you will doManage a team of SMB account managers to deliver monthly goal attainmentProvide leadership and direction to a high-performance team – including hiring, training, and pace settingDevelop specific and targeted goals for contributors on your team to help them grow and developFind innovative and creative ways to improve and increase performanceExecute, iterate and improve on “set piece” customer engagements to develop best practices that scaleSupport consistent and consultative sales and client success processesDirectly manage and resolve customer escalationsTake an entrepreneurial approach to the role, working collaboratively with the rest of the leadership team to get things doneWhat you will needA minimum 1 year of experience scaling and managing a client-facing sales or account management team in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience as a top-performing account manager or sales executiveProven track record of team quota-attainment via new product sales and upgrades Proven leadership skills, people management skillsHighly effective communicator with good people instincts - able to build trust and work well with a diverse group inside and outside the companyEager for a very hands-on role, where you’ll be asked to take on and run with a range of projects outside your comfort zone, and learn quicklyHighly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented, with great follow-through on projects/tasks big and smallHigh integrity individual who’s enthusiastic about building a great company for the long termCourage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it.Additional InformationRippling is an equal opportunity employer.
