You will learn/strengthen various skills such as negotiation, problem-solving, customer issues, navigating different sales-related software, attention to detail, and effective communication.The main role of the Renewal Specialist is to manage the process of renewing annual contracts with ClickUp’s existing customers. This can include responsibilities such as working with customers to ensure that their contracts are up-to-date, identifying potential issues or roadblocks that could prevent the renewal of a contract, and communicating with customers to discuss their renewal options and negotiate renewal terms. The Renewal Specialist should have a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, and be able to provide customers with guidance and support as they consider renewing their contracts. They will also be able to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to increase the value of a customer’s contract and assist with renewing with the company. Renewal Specialists also work closely with sales and customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and reduce churn. They will also be responsible for forecasting and tracking the renewal process, keeping accurate records and databases, and providing regular reports to management on the progress and success of the renewal process. The Role: Partner closely with AE’s, Customer Success, and Deal Desk to ensure on-time renewalsHandle and organize a high-velocity and detailed renewal process with ~100 customers per monthWork with Sales and CS to identify potential churn at renewal and help mitigate as neededManage Front inbox to stay up-do-date on renewal emails and proactive outreach to customersForecast renewals in Clari based on metrics set by leadership Qualifications: 2 years of account management experienceStrong communicator who can put yourself in the shoes of your internal teammates and external customers - while you won’t be required to sell we want someone who can think with the mind of a seller.Strong interpersonal skills with great listening abilities and empathetic nature, but can handle difficult conversations with strong objection-handling skills.
