#IDeaS Summary: The IDeaS Strategic Partner Manager will help develop IDeaS relationships with key strategic technology partners. The Strategic Partner Manager will oversee key partner operations and strategic direction, supervise daily activities and monitor performance that meet IDeaS strategy and growth objectives. Reports to Director, Global Alliances. Major Responsibilities: Helps to sustain, grow, and manage key strategic partnerships to deliver on strategic direction and objectives. Tracks, manages, and develops program and tools to manager key partner initiatives that increase market presence. Leads partner marketing strategies to develop and implement programs that align with key partner strategy. Manages, monitors, and reviews daily business operations, financial activities, performance, and documentation that deliver on key strategic initiatives. Manages business operations and collaborates with product and integration teams on development and integration work required to deliver on strategic partner goals and direction. Creates, and provides coordination for strategic partner initiatives, coordinating internal cross-functional resources, contracts, education, or training to grow partner relationships. Works with the Director, Global Alliances to coordinate business development activities with key partners, including development of joint value propositions. Works closely with colleagues across the company to extend and enhance partnerships and platform capabilities; ensures inclusion of all relevant assets from different lines of business. Maintains these relationships to ensure consistent messaging and communications about and to partners. Assists where necessary in preparing meeting materials for strategic partner meetings. Acts as an educator on strategic partner competencies and execution abilities for internal groups. Builds strong relationships with all levels of management in IDeaS and its partner ecosystem. Performs other duties, as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or other relevant discipline. 6 years of experience in alliances and channel management or business development within the technology, enterprise software or related services industry. Experience in a partner role for the Travel and Hospitality Industry. Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop winning partner strategies. A self-starter with an ability to excel in a dynamic, ever-changing environment with competing priorities. Proven process owner, communicator and content manager. Exceptional program management skills to lead end-to-end partnership program delivery. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions, colleagues at all levels, and with key partners. Advanced knowledge of alliance or channel management and/or knowledge of the software-as-a-service industry. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Public speaking experience. Preferences: Preferably based in Bloomington, USA. Knowledge of revenue management, pricing and online distribution. Familiarity with Salesforce.com. Other: Work is typically performed in an office environment, using simple, easy muscular. movements, involving only the handling of light materials, tools, or equipment in easy work. positions, and with no special speed requirements or long stretches of exertion. Vision requirements for this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to travel up to 30% both domestically and internationally which may include extended stays.
