Overview Symmons is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to grow top line sales of Evolution equipment and annual recurring revenue in Key Targeted Markets throughout the US & Canada. Symmons Evolution is an innovative rapidly expanding technology platform that is changing the way buildings operate. We are looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial minded individual to join our team and help us scale our technology to thousands of new buildings across North America. The ideal candidate must be self-directed, results oriented, have an established background in relationship building while exhibiting strong communication and presentation skills. Our Evolution Strategic Account Manager will drive sales performance exclusively focused on the Evolution technology platform. Engagement with a wide range of decision makers, industry’s and internal Symmons team members will be crucial to long term success. Reporting to Symmons Leadership on progress updates with strategic plans for key customer engagements, focused initiatives, and delivery of Annual Sales Plan. Key deliverables are profitable sales growth, win rate, executing the Symmons Evolution sales process. Responsibilities Grow Top Line Sales Revenue of Evolution Equipment & Annual Recurring Revenue. Engagement of Building Developers & Property Managers from the Engineering Room Level up to C Suite Presenting and Converting their Facilities into our Evolution Platform. Focus on Conversion of Large-Scale Building Owners throughout Targeted U.S. & Canadian Markets. Nurture Accounts to Develop Land & Expand Opportunities Develop New Vertical Target Channels – Insurance, Public Utilities, Leasing, Etc. Proposal Development, Presentation and Follow Up Turnover Evolution Conversion to Project Manager for Installation Execution Account Management of Large-Scale Building Owner / Operators to Establish Execute Technical Symposiums for Key Target Accounts Develop & Present Quarterly Business Review Interact with External and Internal Resources to Maximize Customer Evolution Specifications. Engagement with Sales Force CRM to Close Opportunities & Ensure Internal Alignment. While Developing a Sales Pipeline. Attend Key Industry Tradeshows & Association Meetings Development of Annual Sales Strategy Routinely Work with Symmons Core Product Sales Team to Convert Evolution Opportunities. Work Closely with Product, Content and Design Marketing to Develop and implement Impactful Marketing Campaigns. Special Projects as Needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Required preferably in Business or Related Discipline. 5 years Sales Experience Preferred with Building Management System or Proptech Background. Experience with Salesforce Software. Adept at Creative Thinking, Problem Solving and Managing Flexibility in a Constantly Changing Customer Environment. Strong analytical skills balanced with creative ability and acute attention to detail. Experience selling Building Management Systems Experience selling Proptech – Hardware & Software solutions. Experience with HVAC / Plumbing Systems. Experience Creating Sales Strategies, Marketing Initiatives, Budgets, P&Ls, and Forecasting to Grow Sales. Strong Organizational and Proven Sale Management Skills. Able to Work Effectively Across Functional Team. Proficient Written, Verbal and Presentation Skills Required. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 40% Monthly Travel. Must be proximity to major airport.
