Position description: The Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion (KHP) at Cal Poly Pomona invites applications for the position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in the 2026-27 academic year. We are interested in candidates with expertise in Public Health who are excited to lead the development of our Public Health initiatives. This role includes driving forward our new Public Health minor (undergraduate), supporting existing service-learning programming, expanding community collaborations, and strengthening graduate-level scholarship. Demonstrates potential to be effective in college teaching related to Public Health. Commitment to contribute, teach, and engage in a multicultural environment with a diverse student body (>50% URM) (Evidence should be provided in Cover Letter and Teaching Philosophy).
