Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a JCA Export Regulations Specialist Position type: Full Time, Contract Duration: 6 months to possible extension Location: Remote As a JCA Export Regulations Specialist, you will: Personnel will review the jurisdiction & classification of previously assessed hardware and technical information for accuracy to the regulations. This includes performing technical reviews of the product’s function, assessing the hardware’s hierarchy within the product structure, and understanding recent guidance from Global Trade to assess proper classification for export. Personnel will participate in documenting rationale for the jurisdiction and classification assessment of items found to have the incorrect JC previously. The ideal candidate will have: Associates or Bachelor’s degree or bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics Minimum 5 years of experience with the U.S. Government (USG) U.S. Munitions List (USML) and Commerce Control List (CCL) Minimum 5 years of experience performing jurisdiction and classification assessments Knowledge and proficiency with regard to the regulations (including understanding of the (a) catches and all the (b) releases) and group guidance (including the see-through rule and other commonly understood USML regulations. Strong computer skills, including understanding and proficiencies in MS Office applications Excel and Word. Experience with JCA Tools (e.g., OCR, xClass) and CommonPDM (cPDM)/Windchill.
