This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.Position SummaryThe role of the Associate Support Engineer, SAP, ECP, Payroll is to provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of our global customer support team. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting and supporting of multiple SAP HCM modules for our global clients who use both 4.x and ECC environments.The role of the Associate Support Engineer requires the expertise and skills to diagnose SAP Payroll and Time management issues; then develop, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly configured environments.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide payroll monitoring and technical support for multiple weekly and bi-weekly payroll areas.Responsible for resolving payroll and time management incidentsResponsible for the functional implementation of change requests and/or support of services for SAP throughout the project lifecycle, including planning and design phases, requirements, estimating, configuration, testing and deployment with minimal supervision.Develop working relationships with other members of the project team, management, and external clients to deliver projects and daily delivery effectively.Monitor and support payroll related interfaces from a functional standpoint.Perform configuration of vacation quotas, work schedules, holiday calendars, wage types, tax models, payroll and time schemas and rules.ExperienceSAP: 3-5 years (Required)Payroll: 3-5 years (Required)HCM Consulting: at least 3 years (Required)SkillsKnowledge and understanding of HR, payroll, tax, posting to accounting, third party payment processing, BSI tax processing, TUBS implementation.Understanding of regulatory and legislative guidelines desired.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.Exhibits problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting issues and understanding when to escalate as appropriate.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Support experience in SAP HR modules - Personnel Administration, Payroll, and Time management.Ability to support On-cycle and Off-cycle payrolls.Payroll issues resolution with quick turn aroundHR Forms Configuration - PE51ServiceNow user experience desiredEducationBachelor’s degree and/or an extensive professional work experience in SAP payrollSAP certification in payroll desirableLocationRemote - U.S.Why Rimini Street?Rimini Street Inc. is an affirmative action-equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws regarding recruitment and hiring.Qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship status, disability, protected veteran status, or any other category protected by applicable Federal, State, or Local laws.
