ADAS ECU/Sensor Application Design & Release EngineerUse your technical expertise to make driving safer, easier and better for our customers. The Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team develops state-of-the-art software and algorithms to deliver best-in-class features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and 360 camera systems. We are seeking a highly driven engineer responsible for the program application work for ADAS ECU/sensors. You would lead hardware and software application and vehicle integration work of these systems that control ADAS features on several vehicle programs You'll have:BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or strongly relatedExperience with packaging electronic modules and components in vehicles3+ years of experience in Design and Release of E/E components.3+ years of experience with Automotive Component or Subsystem Product Development tools and processes.Strong understanding and application of engineering disciplines (engineering specifications, systems engineering, design validation, failure mode analysis, 8D, Six Sigma, .An expert at analyzing and resolving complex issues.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, proactive, eager to take responsibility, and deliver results with minimal supervision.Outstanding supplier relationship skills to coach and lead suppliers as required.Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.Ability to quickly learn the job (with mentoring from others), and then be able to self-lead the D&R Application work on programs.Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and interact with others, both orally and in writing.Motivation to bring new technologies from concept to production in a short time period.Ability to travel, as necessary.Even better, you may have:MSEE or advanced degree preferred.3+ years of CAD packaging experience.Experience with ADAS technologies (., camera, radar, lidar, ultrasonic, domain controller).Mechanical subsystems, brackets design experience.Strong knowledge of E/E Systems and how E/E components interface with other vehicle systems.Diagnostic tools and troubleshooting familiarity (DET, CANAlyzer, DTCs, DIDs .Thorough understanding of vehicle electrical systems and electrical design/development processes.Understanding of production processes.You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to applyAs an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
