GUEST SERVICE LEAD**The Guest Service Lead position is Seasonal**(Mid-April through Mid-September with hiring and training beginning as early as December)The Guest Service Lead is responsible for assisting the Guest Service Manager with performing routine tasks in planning, organizing, and coordinating parties, group reservations, and private rentals. The Guest Service Lead also assists with the daily operations of the gift shop, front gate, Guest Service Office, ticket booth, and concessions as needed. The Guest Service Lead assists with the supervision of staff as well as performs essential functions to include serving as hosts/hostesses to parties, organizing programs, processing transactions, maintaining records, answering phones, disseminating information, handling cash, and other duties as assigned. The Guest Service Lead maintains order at the front gate and throughout the park by ensuring the rules and protocols are consistently and fairly enforced. The Guest Service Lead can act as Manager in the absence of the Guest Service Manager.Minimum Qualifications17 years of age or olderSix months of prior paid experience in municipal or commercial management, clerical, and customer servicePreferencesFamiliarity with money handling, group rentals, recreation software, and customer serviceBilingual in SpanishBackground with security, accounting, and clerical workCPR Certified or the ability to achieve certification by start datePosition RequirementsAbility to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other software programs and to accurately count money and run reports.Physical Requirements•Ability to walk, run, stand, sit and complete a variety of motor skills•Ability to walk and/or stand on concrete for the majority of your shift•Ability to bend to the floor and reach overhead•Ability to lift and carry 30-70 pounds regularly to chest height•Ability to hear and see wellMental Requirements•Ability to demonstrate exceptional punctuality and attendance•Ability to project a positive attitude, manner, and appearance•Ability to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency•Ability to demonstrate mature judgment and ethical behavior•Ability to read, write and perform mathematical equations•Ability to work with limited supervision•Ability to multitask•Ability to use knowledge; critical thinking skills; judgment and problem-solving skills to handle situations•Ability to resolve conflict fairly, safely, and in a timely mannerEnvironmental Conditions•Ability to work staggered shift assignments as necessary including evenings, weekends, and holidays•Ability to work in hot, cold, wet and/or other unpleasant outdoor conditions•Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environmentPay RateThis position is $16.00 per hour.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
