Selectek is partnering with a company near Birmingham, Alabama to hire a Structural Drafter or Designer on a contract-to-permanent basis. Candidates will need experience with project design for commercial developments as this firm focuses on that field.

Employment Type: Contract-To-Direct
Location: Birmingham, AL
Expected Pay Range: $25-$35 per hour based on experience and certifications

Duties/Expectations of Position:
- Design of commercial and some light industrial projects from concept to final design
- Layout of building plans, elevations, and cutting sections
- Draft project plans in AutoCAD or Revit as necessary
- Project types will focus primarily on commercial construction
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure projects progress smoothly

Requirements for Consideration:
- 3+ years of experience in the structural field
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with commercial project design, specifically vertical construction
- Ability to work on projects from concept to final stage construction documents

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
