Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and be proficient in STADD, STRUDL, and ANSYS. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing complex structural systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and analyzing complex structures
  • Preparing and reviewing construction documents
  • Providing technical support to project managers and architects
  • Working with other engineers and consultants to develop and implement solutions

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (an Advanced Degree is preferred)
  • Professional Registration (PE) is desired
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering related to new construction and/or retrofit of power generation facilities or other similar heavy industrial facilities
  • Detailed knowledge of engineering design principles, competence in structural steel and concrete design, and proficiency with structural codes, standards, and industry methodologies
  • Proficiency in STADD/STRUDL, PCA Column/Mats, ANSYS, MathCAD, Excel, and AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
