What You'll Do

As an intern, your entry level position will gain experience by supporting senior engineering and technical personnel with the planning, design and implementation of engineering projects. Exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Perform routine quality control test procedures including concrete and nuclear moisture / density testing.
  • Complete and submit daily reports and Job Hazard Analysis forms.
  • Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures.
  • Become familiar with applicable plans and specifications.
  • Notify supervisor or Project Manager immediately of problems and deviations from plans and specifications.
  • Frequent exposure to clients.
  • May occasionally attend job site related meetings.
  • May occasionally perform routine testing in the lab.

Desired Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.0 or above, actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
  • Must possess the ability to read, write and perform basic math
  • Must be comfortable performing computer functions
  • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
