This position comes with a base salary plus a lucrative commission structure based on commercial flooring margins, production and schedule milestones. Most of our PM's make well over $200k a year and have their own GC book of business. Hospital flooring as well as office suites. 

  • Assist the Sr Project Manager in planning and scheduling project activities, including ordering materials, coordinating labor, and ensuring project timelines are met within this Commercial Flooring Division in Los Angeles and San Diego. 
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and project plans.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing project budgets and expenses.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on project costs and expenses, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget constraints.

  • Promote and enforce safety protocols on job sites to protect the health and well-being of all personnel and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and update project stakeholders on progress.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement to enhance project efficiency.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in project management or construction, ideally in the flooring industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
