We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Controller to join our team. This key role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to provide actionable insights to support company leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including payroll, accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to assess and guide the company’s financial health.
  • Manage and monitor the accounting team’s performance, delegate tasks, and review progress.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data, including journal entries, reconciliations, and tax filings.
  • Develop and maintain internal control safeguards and accounting policy SOPs.
  • Provide financial recommendations to company leadership based on data analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 4-5 years in a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of US tax regulations and GAAP standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing a team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
