Building Control Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Building Control Engineer to join our team at Knott Mechanical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing building automation systems for commercial clients in the Greater Baltimore Area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems, HVAC, and plumbing, with experience in project management, computer networks, and building automation systems including Honeywell Webs, Tridium (Niagara AX and Niagara 4), Distech, Johnson Controls, Carrier, Easy IO, TAC /I-Net, and Trane.
The salary for this role is up to $44/hr + company vehicle + 100% employer-paid healthcare, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking for a challenging and rewarding career.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement building automation systems based on client requirements.
- Develop project schedules and strategies for system implementation, manage each project, and ensure successful project implementations.
- Inspect implemented systems, consult with engineers and contractors as necessary, and document system design, programming, and sequence of operation.
Requirements:
- HVAC Journeyman's License or Electrical Journeyman's License.
- Experience with project management, computer networks, and building automation systems including Honeywell Webs, Tridium (Niagara AX and Niagara 4), Distech, Johnson Controls, Carrier, Easy IO, TAC /I-Net, and Trane.
- Excellent organizational/time management skills, oral and written communication skills, knowledge in trade-related fields, and a professional demeanor.
