PARALEGAL/LEGAL ASSISTANT

Full time position is currently available with Griffin Alexander, P.C. at our Randolph, NJ location in our expanding Landlord Tenant and Collections Departments. Our firm represents numerous Community Associations and Landlords in NJ, NY and PA.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • College Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate/Prior experience in a Law firm
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Math skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word – Outlook - Excel
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Able to multi-task and thrive in a busy, challenging environment
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as a Team member

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assist attorneys in the initial drafting/preparation of correspondence and legal documents
  • Finalize legal documents and file with Courts/Court prep for attorneys
  • Correspond with clients, management companies, tenants, unit owners and the Courts, via phone and email
  • Create and maintain client files/spreadsheets
  • Monitor and calendar Court dates and deadlines
