Pride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist III (Floater) to support our client’s medical facility based in Merritt Island FL 32953. This is a 2 month assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Responsibilities:

  • Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
  • Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
  • Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
  • Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Education/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • Candidate must have reliable transportation to get to/from worksite without issue
  • Must be available to work whenever scheduled and stay for the entire shift.
  • Floaters travel in between multiple sites and are expected to be on time at whatever site they are covering for that day. They must also have a clean driving record.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 6am - 3pm. Rotating Saturday 7am - 12pm.
Pay Range: $17 to $19.8/hr
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
