Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Springfield, MO area, is seeking a Tooling Supervisor to join their team. This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, etc. 

Tooling Supervisor Job Summary:
  • $90K-$100K
  • Full Time/Direct Hire
  • Benefits: Full Benefits/Vacation/Holiday Pay (Benefits Eligibility on 1st Day of Employment), 401K: 6% Match
  • Relocation Assistance
  • Supervise the Tool Room Technicians by assigning daily tasks to be completed and monitoring daily progress. 
  • Follow up on tooling issues that are prioritized in the plant and communicated within the department.
  • Follow up on down cavities and assure that they are maintained above the expectations of the operation. 
  • Follow up on special projects assigned to the tool room.
  • Verify and maintain spare parts are in house and/or on order.
  • Directs the shift with respect to preventative maintenance and cleaning of molds. 
  • Establishes communication path with the production team to coordinate repair and maintenance schedules for all tools to ensure efficiency, cavitation, and prolong the life of the tools. 


Tooling Supervisor Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years injection mold tooling experience preferred, not required.
  • Three to five years of supervisory or lead experience.  
  • Thorough knowledge of safety specifications and procedures.
  • Understanding of quality standards and systems.
  • Understanding of LEAN principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, ERP, and Preventative Maintenance software
