Job Summary
  • The Data Analytics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a small team of data analysts, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of data analysis and reporting. This role involves hands-on data analysis work, as well as mentoring junior analysts and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data & Analytics other quantitative discipline or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience
    • Required: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with experience in leading or mentoring a team.
  • Skills
      • Leadership & Execution: Capable of guiding a team to ensure work is accurately completed on time by preparing and presenting reports that drive results, alongside making observations and recommendations to enhance organizational performance.
      • Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to understand and support the data needs of the organization, helping to monitor and improve performance metrics.
      • Strategic Contribution: Engage in the strategic planning process for the team, addressing immediate data requirements, particularly focusing on financial reporting aspects.
      • Reporting Proficiency: Create accurate and meaningful reports by utilizing tools like Power BI, Excel, and SQL, turning complex data sets into understandable insights.
      • Project Management: Manage the scope, budget, and timeline of projects under their supervision, ensuring project goals are met.
      • Team Coordination: Exhibit strong teamwork and facilitate the prioritization of team tasks, organizing staff efforts effectively to lead meetings and small-scale projects.
      • Recruitment & Development: Assist in hiring and fostering the growth of data team members to support the team’s objectives.
      • Industry Awareness: Keep informed of technological and methodological advancements in data analysis and reporting, as well as staying up-to-date with trends in financial reporting.
      • Data Privacy Compliance: Ensure data handling complies with privacy laws like HIPAA and company policies, focusing on data integrity and protection within the team's operations.
