The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.

Under general supervision, provides professional-level database administration and support for projects related to the installation, configuration, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise class database environments and related infrastructure; performs related duties as assigned.

This position has the option to telework full-time, and while working, the incumbent must be located within the state of Nevada. The incumbent may be required to work in-office and to attend in-person meetings as determined by their supervisor.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • The salary range for this position is $86,354.47 - $129,531.70 annually.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field
  • Three (3) years of administration experience in relational databases
  • Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
  • Must pass a nationwide fingerprint-based record check, and a wants/warrants check
  • Must complete Security Awareness and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Nevada Criminal Justice Information System (NCJIS) certification within six months of hire/transfer and be recertified every two years. Must maintain certifications in NCIC/NCJIS as a condition of continued employment
