Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

The estimated annual salary for this role is $50,000-$60,000.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Ellis Entertainment LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with departmental hiring managers to develop and execute organizational recruitment strategies. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, placement, and onboarding of qualified applicants for key positions across the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create effective recruitment strategies that prioritize candidate quality and organizational fit.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to potential candidates by providing operational excellence, proactive, competitive, and cost-effective recruitment solutions.
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process to provide an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Efficiently manage candidate hiring and onboarding through HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Leverage traditional and non-traditional sourcing and recruitment marketing channels, including professional events, job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing requirements.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations in collaboration with HRBP and coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist in efficiently scheduling applicant interviews.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
  • Provide administrative/clerical support (filing, scheduling, scanning, etc.) for the HR department.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment.
  • Participate in HR staff meetings and attend other meetings as needed.
  • Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
