WE ARE SEEKING A FULL-TIME RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN THE DEPARTMENTS OF ANTHROPOLOGY AND BIOLOGY AT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY

THIS IS A ONE-YEAR POSITION FUNDED BY A NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION AND A NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEATH GRANT TO EXAMINE THE ROLE OF MIDDLE CHILDHOOD IN HUMAN EVOLUTION, AND THE EFFECTS OF MICROCYSTIN ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND FUNCTION OF THE STRESS AXIS.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BACHELOR OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN NEUROSCIENCE, BIOLOGY, BIOTECHNOLOGY, OR BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES
  • PRIOR EXPERIENCE OF 1-2 YEARS IN A LABORATORY SETTING
  • HIGHLY MOTIVATED, DEPENDABLE, AND CONSISTENTLY ON TIME
  • STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL AND TIME-MANAGEMENT SKILLS
  • ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK AND MEET DEADLINES
  • EFFECTIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
  • DEMONSTRATE PROFESSIONAL INTERPERSONAL, VERBAL, AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
