Hotel Sales Manager

Wage & Job Info: $31.25-$37.00 per hour
Quarterly Bonus Potential: up to 20% of base salary
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional evening or weekends for events

The Sales Manager is responsible for booking profitable business within assigned segments to achieve annual sales segmented revenue goals. This position involves establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with current clients and future business prospects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Perform all duties with exceptional caring and genuine guest service, upholding Oxford Collection standards and culture.
Sales / Relationships (65%):- Maintain an active prospecting effort and pipeline to book profitable business for the hotel.
- Evaluate business opportunities and maintain close contact with prospects and clients.
- Annually achieve sales segmented revenue goals.
- Participate in industry related and community organizations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the assigned market.
- Maintain communication with clients before their hotel stay.
- Entertain and network with clients on-site and off-site.
Perform tasks in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements. Report maintenance repairs to supervisor or General Manager.
Administration (25%):- Generate and analyze data and reports by maintaining sales database.
- Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
- Develop weekly and quarterly sales action plans.
- Ensure property website and systems display accurate information.
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff for smooth service delivery.
- Oversee and manage Sales Coordinator in absence of senior staff.
- Maintain organized work areas adhering to cleanliness standards.
- Assist with reports, special projects, and other hotel-related duties.

- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of Sales experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver license and proof of insurance
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive movements
- Lift 50 pounds occasionally and exert up to 20 pounds of force
- Bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces
- Walk outside in various weather conditions
- Climb stairs inside and outside in various weather conditions
