We are seeking a Director of Project Management with a proven track record in Project Management Office (PMO) leadership, ERP implementation, and consulting. The ideal candidate will hold PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and possess strong project governance expertise. Beyond technical capabilities, this role requires an individual who exhibits a collaborative, results-driven, and detail-oriented approach, combined with proactive problem-solving and a natural ability to influence and lead teams.

As a key leader in the organization, the Director of Project Management must balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, ensuring that all projects align with organizational goals and deliver measurable outcomes. A natural ability to inspire trust, adapt to challenges, and drive accountability across diverse teams will be critical for success in this high-impact role.


Key Responsibilities

PMO Leadership and Governance:

  • Establish and lead the PMO, creating standardized processes, tools, and frameworks to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement project governance, risk management, and reporting structures for ERP implementation and other organizational initiatives.
  • Play lead role in future acquisition integration strategic planning.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

ERP Implementation Oversight

  • Lead and coordinate all phases of ERP implementation, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP solutions meet business needs and align with long-term strategy.
  • Identify and address project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks in ERP deployment.

Strategic Project Management

  • Align project priorities with business objectives, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process enhancements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project managers, ensuring consistent methodology and practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between leadership, project teams, and external vendors/consultants.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to achieve project milestones.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, presentations, and status updates to executives and PE Sponsor


Requirements:

  • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required.
  • Project management experience, with at least 5 years in PMO leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) across multiple industries.
  • Background in consulting or working in client-facing project delivery roles is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and ERP software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Residence within commuting distance of a major US airport
  • Authorization to work in the United States now and in the future
