Architectural BIM/CAD Technician

Pay is DOE: $27-$33/hr
- The pay range offered to the successful candidate will be determined by various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific details and circumstances of each position and candidate.

- Set up drawings according to company standards for title blocks, layers, fonts, and line weights.
- Prepare conceptual site plans, aerial overlays, building plans, maps, and exhibits.
- Prepare preliminary and final construction documents.
- Update drawings in response to design modifications, redlines, and comments.
- Assemble plan sets for submission to agencies in PDF and Hard Copy
- Conduct spell checking / cross-referencing / quality control / revision tracking.
- 1 year of on the job experience is required but 2+ years of experience is preferred working with an A/E design firm preparing Preliminary Design and Construction Documents.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD drafting software with an emphasis on Revit.
- Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, and AutoTURN experience a plus
- Strong working knowledge of all forms of MS office software.
- Candidates that aspire to become licensed architects are a plus. The ability to work independently, follow instructions, balance a diverse workload, and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills.
